Core Chocolate Ice Cream
(fat free, sugar free!)
1 4 oz package sugar free fat free instant chocolate pudding mix
1/4 cup splenda
1 12 oz can fat free evaporated skim milk
1 cup fat free milk
In a medium bowl, stir together the instant pudding and splenda.
Add the evaporated milk and fat free milk and stir until blended. Pour
into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manf. directions.

1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream4 boxes powdered gelatin (3 ounces each) in different flavors (we used berry blue, strawberry/banana, lime, and lemon flavors) Let the ice cream set out at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes to soften. Next, scatter 3 tablespoons of any flavor of powdered gelatin over the bottom of a sealable, medium-size square or rectangular container. Layer one quarter of the softened ice cream over the gelatin. Guinness ice cream
Makes 1 quart
1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
1 cup whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
2/3 cup Guinness stout
2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons molasses
4 egg yolks
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1. In a medium saucepan, scrape in the vanilla bean seeds. Add the pod, milk, and cream. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Turn off the heat, cover the pan, and let the flavors infuse for 30 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium-high heat, whisk together the stout and molasses. Bring to a boil and turn off heat.

ORANGE FIZZ FLOATS
1 c. orange juice
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
2 c. lemon lime soda
1 orange slice
Fill each glass with 1/4 cup orange juice. Add one scoop vanilla ice cream. Add 1/2 cup lemon lime soda. Stir with small spoon to mix soda and orange juice. Garnish with quartered orange slice and serve. Serves 4. {Tags: ice cream float, orange, vanilla} {More...}

MOCHA FLOAT
1 qt. chocolate ice cream
6 c. strong coffee
1/2 c. cream, whipped
Cinnamon

MOXIE FLOAT
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup crushed ice
2 to 3 drops vanilla flavoring (not artificial)
1 12 ounce can Moxie
Place one scoop of ice cream and other ingredients into a blender and process on high until smooth.
Pour into a chilled fountain soda glass and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
Serve with a straw and a spoon.

TROPICAL ICE CREAM FLOAT
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
4 tbsp. frozen Passion Fruit concentrate
7-Up

Mini Orange Dreamsicle Float
2 oz Orange Granita (see recipe)
4 oz Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
2 oz Orange Soda (Stewards is the best)
Using a fork, scrape half of the orange granita to create a shaved ice effect and layer in a rocks glass. Add half the ice cream on top of granita mixture. Then repeat granita mixture and top with a perfect round scoop of ice cream and finish by pouring orange soda over the top to create the float effect.
