Pumpkin Fever

Summer is quickly fading away here in Maine, but I can’t say I’m sad to see it go. It was pretty cold and rainy this year and not very conducive to enjoying ice cream outside very often.
Fall is probably one of my favorite seasons, though and I can’t wait for it to be here already. The Fall Fever really started to hit for me when food establishments start bringing out the pumpkin flavored items. I’ve already enjoyed a few pumpkin bagels (yummy!) which reminded me of my failed pumpkin pie ice cream experiment last October. I think this year I might tweak the recipe or just let Kelly at Ice Cream Alchemy test it out for me. Maybe she’ll also whip up a batch of Chocolate Pumpkin Cupcakes, too!

Is that a challenge? If so…I accept! Next project = pumpkin pie ice cream experiment with chocolate pumpkin cupcakes
I’m thinking once the leaves start changing, pumpkin is the new bacon.
Yes, pumpkin everything please! I’m really dying for some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. I’ll accept squash cookies, too. I figure it’s made from veggies so it MUST be good for you.

vanilla is a good tast in icecreams
Pumpkin ice cream sounds like like a great fall desert? If anyone has a good recipe I would really enjoy trying it out! or maybe ill just have to craft my own
This is really interesting. Since when have people started coming up with every flavor in the book. I can’t imagine what this would taste like, but it sounds interesting.I think it’s interesting how people like different desserts for different season of the year. Does anyone know where I might be able to get a scoop of this flavor? If I can get my hands on this flavor, I would love to taste it and tell all of my family and friends about it. Vanilla and chocolate ice creams are my favorit flavors, but I could see this pumpkin ice cream recipe flavor being one of the best. By the way, I like how this article helps build relationships with the us for futuristic ideas about different ice cream flavors.
haaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiii
If I can get my hands on this flavor, I would love to taste it and tell all of my family and friends about it. Vanilla and chocolate ice creams.

It sounds great!
love to taste it.
Pumpkin madness!
Pumpkin? I like the idea of making ice cream of it.and it really look delicious! Interestingly. You must try it once… and also help me out in this creativity ..
I made something about a month ago when I wanted to use up some pumpkin.
Some of it was different (spiced nut topping, my own ginger crust, and homemade ice cream). For the pumpkin swirl, I made homemade pumpkin butter, and added some (maybe about 1/2 to 3/4 cup) of my homemade ice cream into it at the end. I swirled them together then pretty much did what you did: let it freeze, sat out for 30, served.
The pumpkin parts were way too icy, so I know the water content was too high (even though I used pumpkin butter and cooked it way down). Should I have added cream (or coconut cream or cashew cream) to the pumpkin mixture instead of the ice cream?
Anyway, considering the similarity of the recipe, I am hoping you might have some advice! I don’t think that the Ice cream display comes that much better as a normal ice cream we have.
I assume it tastes awesome because the flavor was phenomenal!
Thanks & Regards
